Mersin\u2019den Nitelikli Bir Restorasyon \u00d6rne\u011fi:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

BO\u011eAZ\u0130\u00c7\u0130 \u00dcN\u0130VERS\u0130TES\u0130 TARSUS-G\u00d6ZL\u00dcKULE KAZILARI ARA\u015eTIRMA MERKEZ\u0130<\/strong><\/h4>\n

G\u00f6zl\u00fckule H\u00f6y\u00fc\u011f\u00fc tabakala\u015fmas\u0131nda ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar sonucu ula\u015f\u0131lan ilk k\u00f6y g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczden 9 bin y\u0131l \u00f6ncesine tarihleniyor. Bu k\u00f6y zamanla b\u00fcy\u00fcy\u00fcp geni\u015fliyor ve binlerce y\u0131l sonra insan yerle\u015fiminin kesintisiz devam etti\u011fi Tarsus\u2019un ilk yerle\u015fimi olarak kar\u015f\u0131m\u0131za \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor. G\u00f6zl\u00fckule H\u00f6y\u00fc\u011f\u00fc\u2019nde ilk arkeolojik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar 1930\u2019lu y\u0131llarda Amerikal\u0131 bir ekip taraf\u0131ndan ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f, g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde ise bu alandaki arkeolojik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i \u00dcniversitesi s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmekte.<\/p>\n

Tarsus \u00c7\u0131r\u00e7\u0131r Fabrikas\u0131 19. yy.da \u00c7ukurova\u2019da artan pamuk \u00fcretimine paralel olarak a\u00e7\u0131lan ilk end\u00fcstri yap\u0131lar\u0131ndan biri. 19. yy.\u0131n ikinci yar\u0131s\u0131nda \u0130ngilizler taraf\u0131ndan in\u015fa ediliyor, 1980\u2019lere kadar i\u015flevini koruyor. Sonras\u0131nda bir s\u00fcre depo olarak kullan\u0131l\u0131yor ve terk ediliyor. Fabrika \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 y\u00fcz y\u0131l\u0131 a\u015fk\u0131n s\u00fcre\u00e7te kent ekonomisine katk\u0131s\u0131 sebebiyle kent belle\u011finde g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir yer ediniyor. Tarsus \u00c7\u0131r\u00e7\u0131r Fabrikas\u0131 1995 y\u0131l\u0131nda K\u00fclt\u00fcr Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131\u2019n\u0131n Tarsus tarihi kent merkezine y\u00f6nelik ba\u015flatt\u0131\u011f\u0131 proje alanlar\u0131ndan birinin i\u00e7inde kalmaktayd\u0131 ve 2000 y\u0131l\u0131nda kamula\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131ktan sonra 2001 y\u0131l\u0131nda bir k\u0131sm\u0131; 2013 y\u0131l\u0131nda ise tamam\u0131 Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i \u00dcniversitesi\u2019ne tahsis edildi ve b\u00f6ylece bu end\u00fcstri miras\u0131n\u0131 yok olmaktan kurtaran ve ara\u015ft\u0131rma merkezini bug\u00fcnk\u00fc duruma getiren s\u00fcre\u00e7 ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f oldu.<\/p>\n

Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Merkezi, hem mimari a\u00e7\u0131dan hem de kurumlar aras\u0131 i\u015f birli\u011fi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6rnek bir proje. Tarsus tarihinde \u00f6nemli bir yerde duran \u00c7\u0131r\u00e7\u0131r Fabrikas\u0131\u2019n\u0131n, Tarsus\u2019un ilk yerle\u015fimi olan G\u00f6zl\u00fckule H\u00f6y\u00fc\u011f\u00fc\u2019nde yap\u0131lan arkeolojik ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara ev sahipli\u011fi yap\u0131yor olmas\u0131 yap\u0131n\u0131n d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm hik\u00e2yesinde \u00e7ok anlaml\u0131 bir yerde duruyor. Bu denli \u00f6zel bir i\u015flev kazanmas\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131nda Tarsuslular\u0131n da kullanabilece\u011fi baz\u0131 ortak alanlar\u0131 kentle payla\u015f\u0131yor ve b\u00f6ylece kente entegre oluyor. Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Merkezi 2019 y\u0131l\u0131nda Avrupa K\u00fclt\u00fcrel Miras \u00d6d\u00fclleri\/Europa Nostra j\u00fcrisi taraf\u0131ndan \u2018Koruma Dal\u0131\u2019nda; T\u00fcrk SMD 13. Mimarl\u0131k \u00d6d\u00fclleri \u2018Yap\u0131 Dal\u0131\u2019 \u00d6d\u00fcllerine lay\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc.<\/p>\n

\u00dclke genelinde oldu\u011fu gibi Mersin\u2019de de restorasyon projeleri konusunda \u00e7o\u011fu kez s\u0131n\u0131fta kalsak da ne mutlu bize ki bu muhte\u015fem kompleks \u015fehrimizde yer al\u0131yor.<\/p>\n

Ara\u015ft\u0131rma merkezinin nitelikli restorasyonunu bu sayfaya s\u0131\u011fd\u0131rmam m\u00fcmk\u00fcn de\u011fil. Merak edenler, proje m\u00fcellifi ve uygulama sorumlusu Y.Mimar Saadet Say\u0131n ile ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdi\u011fimiz K\u00fclt\u00fcrhane\u2019nin Megaron Program\u0131n\u0131n 11. B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc\u2019nde aktard\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011ferli bilgileri ve restorasyon projesini anlatan sunumunu a\u015fa\u011f\u0131daki linkten izleyebilirler.<\/p>\n
